The Highwayman Driving School offers genuine value for money training at five or more pounds per hour less expensive than National Driving Schools.

The Highwayman's hourly rate for comparison is £20 which is very similar or slightly less than other Bristol Driving Schools. Lessons are one and a half hour duration and therefore cost £30.

Paying The Highwayman Driving School for an individual one and a half hour lesson is £30. Paying in advance for a block of 4 one and a half hour lessons is £116. Saving £1 per lesson.

Fees for practical driving test £96.50 inclusive. This includes the DSA Test Fee of £56.50 plus £40 for two hours with the school car. Pupils will drive for an hour before arriving at the test centre for test. Afterwards they will be returned to home as is common practice with Driving Schools in Bristol.

Pass Plus fees are £160. The course requires at least 6 hours training. I normally spend seven and a half hours completing the course.

The Highwayman Driving School provides theory training using current Crown Copyright question sheets which pupils complete as homework and retain after marking. Hazard Perception DVD's help to prepare pupils for the second part of the test. Assessment to take the theory test is based on performance and almost none fail at the first attempt. This all provided free of charge.

Pupils are encouraged to refer friends to the school and upon the new pupil completeing five lessons, you can claim £15 off the cost of one of your lessons.
